Finally got the interior harness on. Out of all of the steps for installation, removing the existing plugs was the most traumatic. Otherwise, everything else is straightforward. I'm impressed by the DRLs in the daylight mode (ignition ON). Probably not as good looking as other factory lights from ot...

Excellent, thanks for clearing that up.

I'll give it another go when I have the time. Hopefully I can pry those plugs out.

Thanks.

So you had something else already plugged into those ports as well?

I also had a bit of trouble behind the glovebox when installing the DRLs in my 09 but I found the plug I needed behind the main board. It inserts upwards. Did you have existing connections in both plugs? Yes, I did find the vertical white plug as well and also can't get it out. Any tips on how to g...

Hi Ryan, Yes, you've already posted it: http://clubcj.net/viewtopic.php?t=16129&highlight=drl Mine matches the pre-mid-2010 one. There's already something in those ports though; they're definitely not empty. I assume we have to remove those plugs, plug in the new harness and then plug the existi...

Alright, now can someone please confirm what the lights are meant to do with: 1. Headlight/position light switches turned to OFF 2. Position lights ON 3. Headlights ON? I didn't install the interior harness as I couldn't see any free ports at all. It seems to be working, so maybe there was already a...

Will be interested to see how it actually looks on the car.
$422.70 off eBay but there was a 15% Paypal special so it ended up being about $360.

Thanks, I'm going to try it this morning.

So what is the difference with the ETACS, specific to this install? Plugs/ports are in a different location or missing altogether?

Got my DRL lights in the mail today. Pretty keen to get them on tomorrow. I did notice that the manual said "MY12-onwards" so that was a bit disconcerting. http://www.clubcj.net/img/images/1403863010_2014-06-2719.30.36.jpg http://www.clubcj.net/img/images/1403863010_2014-06-2719.27.13.jpg ...

I ended up ordering these, especially factoring the 15% eBay special happening today. I've got an MY10 Lancer, so hopefully the ETACs is as per the instructions. The "Plug and play" value does appeal to me, especially with how I don't have to fiddle around with either the headlights or wir...

I'm interested in getting this set myself.

I noticed that the recommendation is to remove the position lights; so I take it the DRLs remain on with the position/parking lights on?

http://clubcj.net/viewtopic.php?t=13157 is definitely a great FAQ overall though

The CJ Lancer is getting pretty outdated now. In small-car comparisons in recent months, it'll end up close to the Kia Cerato at the bottom of the list, which is also old and cheap. However, the CJ Lancer has done well for Mitsubishi and the sales numbers seem decent without having to do excessive m...
