It was terrific meeting such a great group of enthusiasts (guys and gals) and especially Marcus, who i think...

Dazz, I have tuned plenty of totally stock Lancers and you still get all the benefits, just a little less top end power.

Can we commit to the 17th and 18th?
If so I will get some flights organised asap.
So yes, that means I would be able to go to Willowbank with you guys.
Though I will need a driver to get me around etc.

RA guys, I machined up a number of boost pills a while ago, still have some left though I dont remember how many exactly.
They are good for 23-24 psi boost at peak torque on the stock turbo, though you will get some drop at higher rpm end.

Yes, I do tune Magnas and Pajeros and Mirrages, but not the 380 Magna as it has a Bosch ECU.

Just to be clear, the NA tune cost is $250 plus airfairs and parking costs distributed across the participants.

Mitsubishi had a lot of tec-guys at PPIHC this year and they seemed to be taking it seriously. However, as a keen observer there it was difficult to take their cars seriously, neither of them seemed to be right for the event. Both cars in the same class, but in effect aiming for both ends of the com...

Another Euro that is worth looking at:

The Volvo V60 T6, this is a 3 litre AWD turbo wagon thing, super comfy ride and interior, three transmission settings with 6-speed and it is quick.
Polestar offer ECU power upgrades and are factory approved. Nice car.

An aspect of the Evo9 that appeals to me, it is a "normal" or if you like an "old school" driving experience, without all the Game-boy feel or government regulations getting into the act and altering the driving experience. It has a key which you have to insert and turn. It has a...

I have owned a 9 for 5 years, have driven and tuned all of the Evos from 5 to X.

If I was to start again, it would be a 9, no question and thats a daily non track car.

If you want something cheap to go crazy with, get a six.
