Depending on your insurance company I don't think they will fit aftermarket products to your car as they guarantee all repairs. They won't be prepared to give you any kind of warranty on non genuine parts.

I bought my car in April and was told by car yard that the tint would scratch unless I purchased window seal/whatevers at a cost of $90 each or for the pair I can't remember.

Maybe the car yard were trying to get some more cash out of me?
