Yeah well I think I was really lucky because before I got my car the dealer had trying to get a vrx for floor stock for several months, and after talking to then the other day apparently they are having trouble again. However they are only a very small dealer.

My car also had to come from a Victorian dealer up to Armidale (6 hours south of brissy) it took them just over two weeks to get the car then a further couple of days for the pre-delivery.

My car was built in 2008. There are some older cars that randomly had felt from new, and nothing had to be cut from the doors in my car. That seems odd. I got my car tinted at a place that new about the Lancer/OUtlander scratching issue, so they knew to cut a 2mm strip off the piece of rubber that causes the trouble. The back windows, just found out yesterday after having the car for three weeks that they actually go all the way down into the door, I have never seen that in a sedan.
