well I have just stepped in the door after a monster of a drive home (800km +) so I hope this makes at least some sense. Guys this has been one of most successful and well organised cruises for NSW/ACT in some time. I would like to extend many thanks to Timmy for his efforts in developing this cruis...

NSW red plater points = 4

exceed speed by more then 20kph = 4 points

The new rules mean that any red p plater caught speeding will loose their license, the only difference is the size of the fine.

not sure why it has become loud but I have always been able to hear mine. As soon as I tap the brake pedal with the car in park I can hear the solenoid release.

it the gear box lock solenoid, it is a safety feature to stop you being able to pull the car out of park without your foot on the brake.

gloves would be a good idea if you plan on picking the snow up :P, but yeah water proof warm clothes are a must on the snow even on a good day the temp at the moment would be around the 0 mark.

All the ski fields I have been to over the years it is free to simply walk out onto the snow. The cost comes in when you want a lift pass and to hire equipment.
