Re: New CJ wrecks at Jollys U pull it (6/4/2018)
$89 for a leather bucket seat? That can't be right. Seriously tempting, as leather seats are so damned comfortable. Yep if that is the price on the website that is what they'll charge. Incidentally that is what I paid for my cloth sports seats from Dandenong, Ringwood seems to have a different pric...

New CJ wrecks at Jollys U pull it (6/4/2018)
Just noticed Jollys has 2 new wrecks, 1 at Dandenong and 1 at Ringwood. Dandenong VRX Ringwood Platinum Edition Lot's of good upgrade parts, Ringwood one has leather sports seats for example. If anyone in Vic wants help removing parts I'm more than happy to meet onsite and help out. If anyone from i...

Re: VIC - Spotted Thread
Just had a wacky idea for a social event.
Premise: Hide and seek for adults.
Detail: Someone parks their car in a location and tells everyone general area (ie. Chadstone carpark) and a time frame. Who ever finds and takes photo of the car within that time frame wins. If no photos then parker wins.

Re: Active Victorian members roll call
Just a little bump and to add some info. Outside a Club CJ organized meet we have a few other options in Vic: Saturday night at the pen and Glenny Kebabs . Saturday night at the pen is a car meet every Saturday at the BP on Peninsula Link in Baxter. It's more of a classic/muscle car show. Used to be...

Re: Wheres your hood!?
Issue with flyers is that the CJ/CF has a really broad customer base. You can sorta see it from the member threads that people with higher spec cars (VRX etc.) are more likely to join here to find out about what they can do to mod or service their cars. The econobox buyers probably don't care how th...

Re: Wheres your hood!?
Wow it's almost the same idea, didn't see this before as last post is almost 4 years ago. I wouldn't do the Google maps thing for safety/security reasons. I recognize some of the names but had a quick look at random profiles for last activity, most are 1-2 years old or more. I think a lot of them le...

Re: NSW active roll call
Damn Victorians stop crashing NSW's party! Opps damn I just did it too :) . But in all seriousness like I just wrote on the Vic thread each state I feel needs their own thread so that people from those states can start to get more social activities rolling. It's not segregation and it's not a popula...

Re: Active Victorian members roll call
The reason I wanted Vic only and not national is because I want to see if it is worth devoting more time to try and organize social and other events. If we can get a good core number of members in Vic there are a few plans and ideas we can discuss in the future, at the end of the day it is the membe...

Re: Active Victorian members roll call
Good work, keep them coming guys and gals.
I think the other states should also try to take a member count, NSW and QLD should have some good numbers.

Active Victorian members roll call
The purpose of this thread is to get a current snapshot of all active Victorian members of Club CJ. Club CJ is in a rebuilding phase and I want to find out if we have the numbers to make it worthwhile for more involved activities such as cruises and meets, merchandise like stickers and T-shirts, or ...

Re: CVT is sh*t
Sarusa that is just how CVT works, the conditions change so its' operation changes. There are so many variables, air temp, air pressure, fuel temp, fuel quality (knock), fuel pressure, battery voltage, etc. Here's a block diagram of the variables and complexity of the system: http://i.imgur.com/6Sqa...

Re: Rotor upgrade/replacement
For what it's worth I've got those rotors but with QFM HPX pads front and Remsa rear (supply issue with QFM for rear) so can't say about Bendix titanium. The slots are about 2mm deep and 2mm wide so will take alot to grind away or bridge. The constant cutting of the pads keeps them flat to the rotor...

Re: Anyone in Victoria available for a tyre experiment?
No one able to help out? I'm really curious to test these tyres so any help would be much appreciated. Even if it's just to stick a Go-Pro to the car to see how the tyres react in turns etc. (I don't own a Go-Pro). Wheels will fit any car from ES to GSR and Sedan or Sportsback and don't really need ...

https://www.legislation.nsw.gov.au/#/view/regulation/2017/451/sch2/inDoc1/part7
Scroll to Division 10, you can have 1 or more extra brake lights and there are regulations for height etc.
See division 13 for fog light rules.
