Hi everyone!
My name's Sean, I'm a 19yo male from Wollongong, just bought a 2007 Mitsubishi Lancer CJ ES MY08. I'm a complete noob when it comes to car know-how, but I'm hoping that if I spend enough time on here that I'll pick up a few things here and there. And I know this really isn't the right forum to ask in, but:
With Facia kits, I've noticed that there's a small curve on the left , and it seems to line up with LH drive lancers, and may not line up with RH drive. Is that the case? Because I wanted to buy a replacement head unit, and I wasn't sure if it'd fit because of the weird shape of the bottom of the faceplate. Or are they for both LH and RH drive Lancers?
That being said, very nice to meet you all, and please forgive me for my current level of ignorance in regards to cars and car modding. =p

haha, nah I'm talking about the head unit buddy =p I thought that'd be considered an interior mod? And haha, I might be considered a wuss here, but I don't really want to do any engine or performance mods, I just want to make it prettier and comfortable LOL

Haha thanks for all the welcome guys,
And Pete, I don't think I'll be cruisin' around to any meets any time soon, not until I do SOMETHING with my car, at the bare minimum I wanna hot it up like a typical young P plater before I'm officially seen by CCJ, so I can impress you all with my fully sick wheels haha!

Welcome.
Often, getting to a meet before you plan out your modding can save you alot of money. You can then get invaluable advice from the people who have gone through what you're about to go through.
Don't let an unmodded car put you off meeting up with other members who've done alot to their cars.
Remember, all our cars started as stock... .

Welcome Sean,
As ofey said, everyones car's started off stock, meets are a great way to see everyone elses mods, and really see where you want to go with your car. I've just bought a whole heap of audio gear from Matt (fitter), and will be installing it soon, hopefully by the next meet so that should give you some excuse to come
Interesting fact, I purchased my Lancer down there at Warrawong, was sitting in the Nissan/Suzuki dealership I also go to Uni down there... haha
