Hi guys! I've been on ClubCJ just browsing the forum for a while now (because I had pretty much decided on getting a Lancer and wanted to know more about it). I recently got my Lancer VR MY10 CVT with bluetooth, reverse parking sensors, VRX spoiler and Rockford Fosgate sound system. It's Effect Grey :)
I'll definitely post some photos up as soon as I get my hands on a decent digital camera.

This is my first car AND I'M LOVING IT! I'm on my green P's in Melbourne, Australia.

I don't have any modifications planned yet, I'm having a look around for ideas at the moment. I'd like to get those undercar LEDs (like neons) from Autobarn... yes it's rice I know, but the blue LED goes so well with the effect grey of the car.

Happy to be on this forum and a very proud owner of a CJ :D

Nice choice mate! you might the right decision buying a CJ. Those Mods will pile up pretty quick after looking at all the sweet rides in club CJ.

Hey there. Welcome to ClubCJ and owning a lancer. Enjoy - of course I know you will - and be prepared to have a light wallet once you get into modding your ride.

Young people seem so lucky these days. Fresh off L's and a nice new car just didn't happen in my day unless your folks were really well off. :)

Haha I think the underbody lights look nice but the risk of defect made it a no go for me. There's plenty of things you can do with your CJ and the forum is a great source of inspiration :) Good choice and welcome aboard!

scraverX, haha yup my dad kinda has something against the reliability of second-hand cars so he refused to let me get anything other than a brand-new one :D

ofey, I'm in Wantirna South, which is South-Eastern suburbs.

JaCe: Yup I had the same worry about defects. I called up VicRoads recently, apparently the laws in Victoria have changed so that you can have neons fitted to your car without hassle and they can be on when you're stationary but not when you're moving. Maybe the NSW laws have changed on it as well? Might be worth checking out.

I might hit Autobarn this weekend to get some savings on the neons, thank you Boxing Day sales!
