Hi all, just got a new job in January and splashed out and bought a brand new 2015 white Lancer ES Sport. As I've just turned 20 last week its my first brand new car and only my second car I previously had a Volvo S40 which was a pain in my backside glad to see it gone.

Where I live (NT) there's not many car specialised workshops/stores nearby everything has to be shipped from other states or overseas. So it takes a while for everything to arrive and unless you can install it yourself, finding someone to install it can be near impossible or really expensive.

I have a lot of projects planned at the moment:

Current Mods:

- Blacked out front grill.

- 5% tint on all windows.

- Debadged Lancer and ES badge from the boot.

- Swapped the interior lights numerous times. Blue to purple to green.

- Installed LED DRL & Dual CCFL Projector Angel Eyes headlights from Mars Performance. Bought the LED upgrades for the indicators, 8000k HIDs for low beam and 5800K halogens on high beam.

- Blue OEM Footwell Lights. Paid $50 for them and installed myself.

- Installed Smoked Black 3D LED taillights from Mars Performance. I chose to get the reverse and indicator LED upgrade.

- Grill lights. Originally I had purple and green LEDs hooked up to a switch next to the dash. However I removed the purple. After a few months I changed the wiring so the green LEDs turn on with the Angel Eyes when I unlock or open a door. They then fade when the doors have been shut or the cars been locked. This was a major pain as the map/dome lights only had 5V. The footwell lights are negative switching so I had to completely rewire it. I then also wired it now where I can keep the grill lights on constantly or have them work on the lock/unlock or door open/shut setting.

- Blackvue DR750lw-2CH front and rear dashcams. Highly recommended mod.

- License Plate Lights Upgrades.

- Steel Evo X Style Bonnet.

- Front Strut Bar (Shipping).

- 18" Motegi Racing MR116 Wheels (Shipping).

- Bonnet Gas Struts (Shipping).

- Evo X instrument cluster and steering wheel. (Shipping). If anyone knows where to get the instrument cluster odometer can be changed in Australia I'd appreciate it. Only has 40kms on the Evo odometer while my car has 10,000km.

- Stubby Antenna (Shipping)

----------------------------------------------------------------

Future Mods:

- Custom Dual Exhaust System. Might be a bit hard as there are only two exhaust shops that I know of and one of them has said no because apparently a tie down point has to be removed.

- Mars Performance Bodykit. Front bumper, rear bumper, spoiler, side skirts.

- Coilover and Camber Kit. With the car being lowered a little bit.

- Change interior LEDs in aircon controls to blue.

- Foglights.

- Roof painted gloss black.

- Rear strut bar.

- Black out side indicators and third brake light.

- SRI.

- Side Number Plate Holder. Need to check on legality first.

As of right most of my projects are on hold as need to replace quarter panel, bonnet and drivers door due to damage. Someone decided to take their anger out on the car while I was grocery shopping.

Look forward to learning heaps.
