guys, i dont want to just drill a hole without checking first, i`m trying too hook up the vacuum tube for the guage, i`m thinking fireleft (pic 1) beside the brake booster, any better ideas?
thanks.
seems ok
check to see if there is room near the main loom of the car.
i hate drilling into firewalls - always ends up looking crap

If u need rubber grommets let me no, I can get u some from work, they have the hole in them so all u do is fit and feed the hose thru. But as chris said try next to a wiring loom going thru the wall
thanks for the help guys, the looms seem to disappear into no mans land on pic 1, what do u think is behind the plate i have already marked, seems the easier option and u cant see it from the cockpit?
A bit hard to say what is there without having a look, as there might b some wiring secured to the wall right there, so u don't want to just drill blind
thanks for the offer ayron, but a grommet was supplied.
for future reference where it is marked on pic1 is a removable plate where the clutch goes (for those that have one).
there is one loom just above it but its easily avoided.
There is a smallish hole behind the drivers side strut tower. If you are running the guage on the right side of the steering wheel, it may be a good one to use
thanks lzy, too late i did it through the clutch plate
but never having a boost gauge its acting strange, it idles at minus 18 pounds and wont seem to go above 13 on full boost whereas my dyno says 18?
i connected it to the bov, is this correct?
