Not sure if this topic has already been talked about but im interested in smoked tail and headlights but I don't really want to buy new ones (last option) I know there are smoked taillights on eBay and you can get smoked angel eyes (I like the oem look) but I don't really want angel eyes. I want to completely black out my car to its legal limit, is there any cheaper alternative to smoking tail and headlights? Im really picky about stuff being equal, if the headlights look different from the taillights it will really bug me
What I want my baby to look like

So tinting headlights and taillights is legal? How much is tinting anyways, referring to windows?

doesn't say anything about the use for headlights and says for off road use only so I presume that means its illegal?

@ Mitch.
Your best & safest option is Tinted Film.
It's available in different shades & it's removable if the Fun Police think otherwise ...
Plus you get the added advantage of Protection from light Scuffs & Chipping that the Film will suffer rather than your Headlamp & Tail Lamp Lenses.
Lamin-X Protective Films supply Pre-Cut Film for Lancers:
6% & 12% shades for Front Head Lamps.
6% - 12% - 17% -30% for Rear Tail Lights.
Aslo color: Optic Blue & Yellow.
You can also buy rolls of Tint Film in desired shades & quantities.
Plus they are having a 10% discount off everything for this month only ....

Couple of questions regarding the Lamin Film.
Is it illegal? Or another grey area?
Is it hard to install?
Is it any diffferent to regular window tint?
And, I recall some members purchasing it previously. Anyone has pictures? =)

Pretty sure its illegal, especially headlights.
Why would you want to tint your headlights...

Because of the look, obviously.

As far as I am aware no tinting of the tail lights is legitimately legal

Get a pair of A/M headlight protectors ..tint with VHT from the inside...gives a high gloss finish...then you can remove them at night!!! Problem solved
