Modding your CJ - Prioritize your Mods in order!!!

I thought I should start a thread as many of you are buying plenty of mods for your CJ's. I was wondering what order would you put your current/future mods in order of priority. 1 - being the most important. 2 - being next and so on..... This includes what people want done to their car - Bodykit, mags, exhaust, spoiler, neon lights etc. To keep it even, everyone should start with their own cars in basic factory standard (so if you car was an ES and had an XDC body kit, then you would start with that) I know everyone with an N/A lancer will say adding a turbo or supercharger on the list, so put it on the list if you would like it.

My list would be:

1. Body kit (has to look good or unique)
2. Wheels and tyres (should keep these together as a set)
3. Exhaust
4. Suspension
5. Sound system
6. Air filter
7. Racing seats
8. Brakes
I've gone for things to make the car look good at the top rather than performance. (this from someone with a turbo charged car - I can see the irony)

2. More power (waiting on new products from LLT)
3. Brakes (new pads will do for now, discs at a later stage)
4. Body modifications
5. Tyres - simply because I've done so few KM's on them they aren't worth replacing yet


Though 4 is getting significantly more time spent looking into at the moment simply because I have been waiting forever for Luie to release his CJ products - and what he has released has only been for the 2.0L so far.


Handling/power are a bigger priority than the rest for me, they are just so hard to come by for our cars as they are so new at the moment. All show and no go is not my cup of tea.

I have steered clear of any performance mods because of warranty affect issues.
i know an exhaust or CAI/SRI + Suspension/Lowering would not affect my warranty in any way, but i just want to keep it standard for a few years anyway. then go crazy!
but my body modifications are a different story.
i love modding the outside of my car...you get a hunger for it and just cant stop wanting to add more.....it's Addictive stuff!.

Really? I was under the impression springs would void ur entire suspension warranty? Coilovers may be a different story though.
