DIY Rally Mud Flaps?

I want to do some mud flaps for my VRX.

Yes I know most here usually remove them but I'm not most people.

Now I know you can get some proper Ralliart ones on eBay but first they are expensive for a few bits of plastic and two I don't want 'Ralliart' on my non RA Lancer.

I know you can buy the proper mud flap type material much cheaper and was hoping someone had a pattern I could print out and then transfer to cut them out and have the holes in the proper place, make up some reinforcing brackets. Also I could make them a bit shorter for when the car is lowered.

Barring that does anyone know a shop/site that sells them without badging in any color you want?

Can you guess the color I'm interested in? LOL

Don't know if I've still got my template, but https://www.rallyarmor.com is where I copied the fronts for. And why is this in the electrical section? you putting leds on them??

Sorry didn't realize I posted in the wrong section, thought I'd selected exterior.

Can some one move this thread?

Wait, LEDs on the rear flaps, maybe you're on to something.

Yes I know the CJ never came with flaps but I meant in general one of the first mods most do is to ditch them. But my Coupe has always has them and I added some flat generic ones with 'Mitsubishi' on them (many years ago) on the front when I got the side skirt so the stock ones would not fit any more.

They do help keep some crap off the sides of the car.

I checked out the rallyarmor.com site but they don't have any in yellow. :)

Thanks, but I need details.

Might have to get these of eBay, but it's still over $100 plus I'd need to cut them to shape.

The government goes on about buying local but I've lost count of the number of times I've had to turn to eBay because no where local has what I want when it comes to car parts or they cost many times more that the same thing on eBay from China.

Surely someone on the Sunshine coast has the 4mm (yellow) PVC type plastic I'm after.

Still need a pattern or a guide as to which holes to use so I can make up some cardboard ones that work.

Make your own template, not hard, use cardboard and a pen\pencil or something similar that will leave a mark on the cardboard. Try clark rubber, there's one in Kawana

Clark Rubber has well rubber and no PVC plastics, called them today. Along with a few other places. Been checking online and might try a few other places tomorrow.

Looks like the cheapest will be around $100 on eBay.

Not sure, have a look on their website. They do two versions, the heavy urethane type shown in the picture and a lighter thinner plastic type.I had the urethane type on my old Ralliart and have a set of the plastic type on my Wife's VRX. They are a perfect fit.Ive had a look for the template I thought I had but it was one I had made for the Evo mudflaps.

I might end up just buying ones made for the CJ if I can't get the raw material at a good price.

I just found these LED flaps LOL

Finally found a local plastics place that can supply them in yellow, 4 sheets at 30x50cm but they only can get it at 6mm thick, $88.

Would this be too think?

Most I've seen on eBay are 3-4mm.
