This was a comp that got shelved by Mgt. Even after the winner was chosen, it didn't end up going anywhere
Good luck getting it active again....

Unlike some other admin mgmt who simply give up, perhaps I'll try and get it done.

In the last 10 minutes I've downloaded some designs put them into a zip file and hashed out an email to 3 printers around me.
I'm going for Screen Printing which is abit better quality so we don't wash and have it all flake off.
Prices will be back up soon.
I hope you guys don't balk at the prices.
I'm sick and tired at some of the admin team simply saying "It's too hard, no support".
I wear alot of Nike.
JUST DO IT.
God I miss the old days when we just used to make things happen.

The more designs we do, the more expensive it becomes.
I've sent the top 3 designs to the printers and asked them for pricing and VALUE FOR MONEY in printing.
They'll let me know?

I would be very interested in this type of thing. There are some very clever designs there.

OK I've got ball park prices.
Tooling or preparing the prints for printing costs anywhere from A$100-A$200 depending on the number of colours. Once the tool is made up, we don't have to remake it. The company will then reprint for us over several runs.
Each t-shirt is about A$10-20 depending on quality of the T-shirt.
So say we do a run of a 100 @ A$15 each, that's A$1500 + A$150 for tooling = A$1650.00
Each T-shirt can be sold for about A$20-25 each delivered OR we can group ship to the states and state mods can distribute
I am going to propose the club covers the cost of tooling from our central funds.
But buyers pay A$20 each per t-shirt delivered (maybe cheaper for Premium and more for Non-Premiums.
From submission to production will take about 3 weeks.
I will submit a proposal to the Admin team for funds to be released to me to get the tooling done.
I'm going to start a poll on sizes so I get a good feel about the size distributions to order.
I don't want to end up with dead stock of sizes XS and XXL.
For those keen to buy a T-shirt, please vote on the size you will be buying for yourself.

Hey Ofey, thanks for getting this going
Im keen on a tshirt. would they be just one size for everyone, or is there ladies n mens sizes?
Also is it just one design you are doing or the top 3?

There is now a
poll on sizes, so I don't need to produce anything we don't need.
So there will be ladies Tees and the normal tees.
I am going to see the printers today for an opinion.
They say the winning design is actually terrible to print and will NOT look nice. They much prefer designs 2 and 3.
*sigh*

I always thought my design might be difficult - let just substitute it with Chubb's design, which actually had the most votes. I'd take one of his I think it's nicest.
