Evo headlights

Postby sicsid » Sun Apr 26, 2009 6:16 pm

Are the Evo headlights different to the normal lancer headlights, i.e does the evo have factory HID installed?

I believe they are the same wiring harness but they are a different style. as for the hids, i think the evo has the option for HIDS, i dunno if it comes standard

So I am able to purchase EVO headlights and they would fit and work properly on my lancer? Or am I going to have to rig the harness in order for it to work...

Alot of people have tried this mod but have had problems. Cost of troubleshooting out-weighed the benefit

Here in the U.S. the 09 GTS models have the option of a Touring Package that includes HID's so they already have the wiring harness. You need to have that second wiring harness for the HID ballasts for them to be plug and play.
