Just call them with your VIN and they will check to see if you're on the list and if the car has been done, which is unlikely unless you just bought the car in the last month.

Hi Elliot , You will be eligible for the recall it doesn't matter if you have brought your Lancer 2nd hand as I brought mine 2nd hand & I had mine fixed last week , Like others have said just ring your local Mitsubishi to book in :)

The VIN number tells them 2 things, if you're on the list and if the car has ANY outstanding recall notices. So once it's done you're on the system and every Mitsy dealer will know it's been checked.

Had the evo in twice for this,
First time no part which I did ask them when I booked it in, they were pretty confident
Went in yesterday as this was the updated booking they gave me, confirmed in the morning that this is what it was booked in for
Walked in to mitsis about 1 in the arvo (dropped off car at 8am) and they had the same response couldn't do it
Getting fairly annoyed with this,
Supposedly they will call me when the parts come in we shall see
Ahh this is why I have so much faith in mitsi service centres :D

Aren't most dealers able to get most parts/supplies in next business day?

Its not like the RA is a rare car?
