@Ben
You should have a copy of this Set-Up Sheet when you got your Coilovers.
If not . then here it is.
Coilovers are Very Simple to Set-Up and Adjust correctly.
Useful Hint before you start:
The thread on the Shock Mono-Tube has a thread pitch of 1.5mm.
I full turn = 1.5mm
2 full turns = 3mm.
3 full turns = 4.5mm
4 full turns = 6.0mm etc etc etc.
1) Never Over "Pre-Load" the Spring.
Doing so will increase the Spring Rate and result in a Stiffer Compression and Rebound effect. (not desirable)
Correct Procedure = Wind Collar "2a" until it just makes contact with the Spring, then wind it a further 2 full turns (3mm).
Lock Collar "2b" against collar "2a" tightly.
This will provide sufficient Pre-Load for the Spring to remain captured and seated between the top and bottom plates.
These two collars (2a &2b) should never require unlocking or adjusting ever, unless your dismantling or rebuilding/repairing the shock.

2) The Height Adjustment is controlled by Screwing the Threaded Mono-Tube Into or Out-Off the Bottom Mount.
Correct Procedure = Unlock Collar "2c" and unscrew it several turns.
Remember, Since Collars 2a & 2b are locked tightly against each other,
using the C-Spanner supplied to turn either collar will rotate the Threaded Mono-Tube.
Rotate Clockwise = Into the Bottom Mount = Shorter Shock Length = Lower Ride Height.
Rotate Anti-Clockwise = Out-Off Bottom Mount = Longer Shock Length = Higher Ride Height.
The easiest way to help you determine and keep count of rotations is by simply placing a black texta mark on one of the lugs on collar 2a.
Remember, each full turn = 1.5mm change in ride height.
Finally, lock Collar "2c" tightly against the Bottom Mount.
Remove all stands and jacks and lower the car to the ground.
Drive the car forward and backwards 10-15 meters several times applying the brakes at the end of each movement.
This will settle the suspension components and allow the car to assume its correct ride height.
Measure and re-adjust until desired ride height is achieved.
Hope this Helps.
Sam.
