I think there was another thread about this and that its a special edition colour for SX's...
Anyway, orange burst =/= rotor glow.
Orange burst looks more like that commodore colour, its a bit meh to me.

A long time ago there was a member from a dealership with a ralliart custom-sprayed in rotorglow, such a glorious colour :D

Shame they didn't bring the evo out in that colour. The larger guards etc would have set it off nicely.

That place reckons that its manual 2010 SX Lancers are around $28,000. WT....? They range from $24,000 to $28000 for the same damn cars. Mine, in Taree, less than 2 months ago for a 2011 model, which has more than the 2010 model, was $21,000. They gave me the 2011 for the 2010 runout price. Mitsubishi was advertising 2010 SX Lancers for $20990 + pretty paint premium of $450 (that annoys me paying for anything other than white. Mazda just charges the one price) All of those are 2010 because they don't have bluetooth controls on the steering wheel so they should be at Mitsubishis run out price of $20990 not the prices they have. I'm so glad Taree were nice with their price. Sorry that may be off the topic of Yay the orange is here but that's a rip off.

The orange one was on the paint colour list for Mitsubishi America but not here. Interesting. Still would have gone with the blue probably even though the orange would have made it into the final two instead of the black.

I like that Orange Burst colour a lot. If you plan on reselling your car though, those sort of colours would cause more severe depreciation.

If anything this color would hold its value more - For the simple fact that theres hardly any of them around. I for one would of got this color if available so I didn't look like everybody else

Went in for a service and took a quick pic on my iPhone of one in the flesh:
Image

Looks a bit red in the photo, however it should be noted that this isnt a very bold orange, its more of a bronze.
Its pretty awesome in the sun though :)

Yeah is a Very Nice Colour, was talking to a salesman at N.E.M last Saturday, they had five of em there, he told me that if this colour is successful mitsi would put it on other models in the facelift models for 2012, he also tipped they would phase out Mystic Blue as it a slow seller. They may introduce some of the colours from the ASX range too!!
