ClubCJ - Site Features Wish List

Postby LZY_EYE » Tue Dec 29, 2009 7:34 am

Hi All,

I searched high and low for a suggestion thread and couldn't find one!!

This is the place where you request any new features you think could be beneficial to ClubCJ.

Please be aware that these features may not be implemented, and it all depends on Mattigins schedule. I just thought it would be good to document them so that when Mattigins does get time to enhance the site he has a reference point.

Discuss.

1,
VRX-pete, scraverX and i were talking about rep points yesterday, itd be good to be able to see who has left us rep points and their comment they leave when the do.

2,
also i think itd be really handy if we could have a user cp (user control panel)
the user cp has many features but the most handy one would be the ability to see if any recent posts have been made on any topics you have commented on in the past. (subscribed threads) you are automatically subscribed to each topic you comment in, but you can easily remove the subscription.

im not sure if this could be possible with clubcjs forum format, but im also a member of another forum which uses vbulletin, and user cp is possible with it.

deepest apologies if screen cap goes against forum rules.

3,
another feature ive found very very very handy on other sites is automatic resizing of pics that people put up, to a uniform size, saves people trying to scroll their screen around to view comments/pics.

+1 for the automatic resizing

i'd also like to see the bugs in the garage fixed. its a real pain to have to delete a mod just to update it/change picture

Agree with Arutha, the garage needs work.

I would like to see a 'sealed-area' just for Premium Members (probably the way you have threads only for Admins/Committee), it would be another way to thank those who pay for the club to exist.

I suggest that Mattigins takes a break and goes on holidays :P

+1 for the reading rep feedback, even just reading the feedback not seeing who it's from would be nice.

cjay it was not me your were talking Rep Points with, it was VRX_Pete... Look in the shout box

Automatic resizing is already in, pics resize to 400px wide ;)

You can view your last 3 Rep comments here: http://clubcj.net/karma.php

And yes, garage needs to be fixed for editing mods. Not that I really use my garage, but others do haha

Ahhhh... well that covers the rep bit. Last 3 is enough for me. :)

I'll put up an idea or two if they come to me.

On the pictures resizing, I've noticed that in Safari they load big then size down to 400px once loaded.
