Hopefully they'll be some more to come.....
Going down to check this out might be an idea for the first BrisVegas Cruise....

Converted to rear wheel drive?
I saw one of them on the back of a truck getting on the freeway at Springwood to head south, wondering what it was. Looked pretty cool.
don't need RWD, you can drift an Evo with AWD. tonnes of them in Japan.

Phoenix beat me to the answer lol, those are AWD. Front AND rear tyres spinning - easier to control in theory. (my theory, phoenix)

^ why's that?
the X still has very limited parts compared to previous Evo's, doubt theres a RWD drivetrain out this early for the 4B11T.
Here's a vid from Japan, AWD Evo 9. Even better skills then the OP's vid

And, there are plenty of GTR 34's in the drift circuits in Japan are running AWD systems in addition to the RWD ones.
Drifiting was originally born from Rallying. Rally car's are also infact almost all (if not all) running AWD systems.
