My install guy is cynical MFK so I would advise you not to go to him. He's just not the most friendly guy to new people. I've known him through a friend who he finds acceptable so I get in with their crowd. I'll source someone for the rest of you.

How did it go so far? Installation would be my primary concern. What is the ballpark figure for installation cost?

Btw does the coil include some soft form or rubber layer? Else it will be squeaky when u pass some bump.

I got quoted $230 including a wheel alignment before I decided to go coilovers....

So you could use that as a ball park figure.....

I have been quoted $250, but I'm sure it would be cheaper for a group install.

The springs should not squeak, rattle or make any banging sounds, if they do it's most likely caused by faulty installation or squeaking/banging could be caused by the shocks not coping with the reduced height.

The installer should test drive the car once the springs are fitted and address any noises.

Just an update to this:

Now A$490 is from Eibach Australia, minimum order 5 and they claim warrantied by them directly. You can't go to them if you buy from elsewhere.

A$390 from MPS Garage but I need 10 of you and they claim warranted by Eibach International.

I have a new offer from the US from the guy who sold me the GReddy exhausts. He's charging A$230 + Shipping. For under A$300 I think it's worth a risk. No minimum order. I should be going for this as I'm sick of waiting.

I've asked my guy how much he'll install the springs for and he'll be doing it for A$200.00. He too confirms with the Prokit, you don't need to change your shocks. You will however need a wheel alignment. I get mine done at Bob Jane for A$55.

Ofey,

I'll take it straight if its under A$300. I don't really care for the warranty as long its genuine stock !

My experience with Eibach so far so good as i have it done on my previous 2 H Civic. Workmanship is my concern as the issue usually come from there.

Another thing is we definately need this with the coil refer :-

As I said I'm not going to wait as I'm sick and tired of people going for coilovers and pulling out for one reason or another.

If you're keen , PM me for my account details and send me A$300.00. I will then use that to get the coils to Australia. May need A$10-20 more to get them to you.

Guys, I'm really sorry but my dealer has pulled out of the A$300 sale. He has been warned by his boss for under-selling on group buys overseas.

I've worked to find another dealer who'll do it at A$410 shipped from US immediately using FEDEX so it's fully trackable.

MPS garage will have a 30day lead time @ A$390 and a minimum order of 5.

I will refund all monies to anyone who wants it back.

Once again, I'm really sorry. My dealer also apologises for any inconvenience or false hope we've caused.
