That is true ofey, but if it is there, even if they don't see it, you are protected legally if anything should happen. And we can just point out to all the n00bs if they ask stupid questions to go back and read the first post.

We're straying off topic.

I'm just waiting for Andros to come to a decision then I'm shutting this thread.

well that's what we're on here for - to check before we buy... so if we don't get told here, where do we get told!

There's certain things I'll let slide, but everyone's got their own "line" and the eyelids, the evo mount, illegal exhausts are where mine sits. I don't have a problem with the 3rd brakelight overlay, although illegal I feel it's easy enough to rip off and cheap enough not to care.

It's fair enough that ofey or the 'poster' doesn't research the legality of every item that's ever mentioned on the site - but it'd be nice to allow ppl to talk about legality issues of the item in the thread also.

The disclaimer and the *ILLEGAL* title aren't really necessary, altho there's nothing wrong with the disclaimer... But really, if ppl can provide legality or performance, or fitment information on ANY items on here - can't we just allow it without harassment?

(Sorry, little slow cos i'm at work - didn't mean to stay off topic....)

In my defence, I doubt I harrass anyone who posts about the legality of anything I'm putting up.

You're welcomed to comment about anything you like on my selling threads. Just understand from now on, I am not commenting on legalities of any of the things I put on sale since I don't really check these things.

I tend to state facts rather than hypothesize. It's part of my training as a scientist. Theoretical physics was too boring for me.

I also cite things rather than just say : "I think it's illegal" or my friend got done for this or that. I will actually point to the document showing that it's clearly illegal.

I would encourage anyone suspicious of legalities to also go check before asking.

Back on topic please.

I notice you've added the eyelids to your 'dream car' front in your signature, ofey. Does this mean you are getting some??

Looks like a good product james, just legality weighs heavier than eyelids in my opinion. Personally I think there's very little chance of getting caught... Probably never would... but last thing I want is trouble with the law... it's just the bottom line for me.

I do run into them now and then and I just don't want anything for them to pick on AT ALL u know...

choice is urs, don't be put off...

i can understand. the way i see it is i know they are not legal but you would have to be in the wrong place and the wrong time with a bored cop to pull you over for just them. its more likely you get pulled over for doing something stupid and then they ping you for everything they can.

are u still selling the samples ofey?
if so what colour are they?

by ofey
They're both in my car color : Effect Grey.

The cheaper ones have a hairline crack through the left side.
And the more expensive ones I was hoping to mount on my own car. Negotiating with them for a price on the samples.
