Hey Offey, I read the thread but couldnt find a answer will it affect the OEM reverse sensors / will it go straight on to a aspire rear bar (dont know if its any different) and is there any possibility of making the fins slightly larger?

I've now verified with the company that it will NOT affect the OEM Reverse sensors.

As for the fins being larger, there are other concerns since large fins will risk scraping in some cases. There are usually standard sizes for these things.

I for one prefer a more understated fin look and not some large fins on the rear. Larger and smaller though is all relative. How large is large? I've not even seen the piece so I can't tell what is large and what is small.

As I said I can't please everyone. deano1964's request is fair in that he wants a MATTE Black piece. That's simple since they just paint over the CF. The factory is willing to do that at no extra charge.

No worries was just asking the question thanks for the reply.
I'll prob wait to see what it looks like on a car before making a decision.

There's only one MATTE Black color? that first one has a textured finish which is provided by the material it's made of.

In this case, the rear diffusers would be smooth since it's CF construction. So then a MATTE Black paint is sprayed on.

The sportsback bumper is different, so won't fit....

Have you thought of some vinyl in the bottom part of the bumper where it has the moulding? Not as good as a diffuser, but I haven't seen one available for the SB.....

As I said, it's not going to be cheaper in Matt Black. They will merely paint the CF part black.

As I said. Between A$150 - A$200.

JazzyB wrote:Yeah - I always thought it was like heat-shrink tube a bit... but I've seen a few types now and they all just seem like "book contact".... they DO stretch - and this is helpful to work out creases etc because it's a bit forgiving, but you wouldn't say, be able to wrap a mirror I don't think.... I've only done a few vinyl jobs, not an expert, it's possibly I don't know what I'm talking about :-P
But from my experience, I'd forget about doing a front V lip (maybe a C lip like mine) in vinyl.... it'd be an abortion...

If you buy the good stretchy vinyl, mirrors are no problem.
