Hi Guys and Girls.
Just anouncing that there will be a car show at Tabcorp Park Harness Racing in Melton on Austalia Day 2011.
All are welcome to attend.
I will be setting up a stall for Sign Creations in association with ClubCJ.
It would be great to get a few cars together to advertise the club a bit more and hopefully get a few more members. Plan is to have all of the cars/stands spread out around the harness racing track for all to see.
Here is an email sent to my wife who is part organising this event as she works there as an events manager/co-ordinator

It would be great for you to set up a stall, the air brushing and stickers should be popular.
Still waiting to hear back from The Death Sauce people but will pass on the details as soon as i can.
The lancer club is more than welcome, no entry criteria but we are looking at charging $10.00 per car to enter to cover costs and try to get some money away to step up a gear for 2012 and maybe try and get a band in and see what else we can include.
Hoping to also have prize draws for the entrants, any other suggestions or ideas you have would be great or if you know of anyone else interested in setting up a stall they are more than welcome.

Sure it might be a bit far for the states other than Vic but it is only 1 hour away from our regular Vic Mini Meet loctation (Donny Autobarn)
Anyway, Fliers will be out shortly. I will post one up when I get one.
I will ask My wife in regards to a Punk Band. Do you have any contact details.
This day will also be a family fun day with jumping castles and show bags for the kids as well as the 2nd anual chilli cook off.

Just received some more news regarding this day.
My wife rang and emailed Marc from Sound Media Group and filled him in on what is planned for the day. He said they will be bringing along 20-25 top end cars for the first round of their national sound off compettition as well as their own stand.
This SOUNDS like fun!!!!

They wont cross the river!! 
Even the guys where I use to work wouldnt go over the bridge if it was outside of work (even still only 3 of them would actually cross the river for work). It must be some symbolic thing for people on the other side of the river. Maybe the local papers for the E/S/SE/NE suburbs have fear campaigns about the West in them.
The bridge wont fall down; they are working on it. You wont get shot, stabbed or sold or anything like that. They been to Docklands, Footscray is only a couple minutes down the road over the river. There nice Chinese soup/noodle bar in Footscray too just past the station and cheap too; $5 for a big bowl of soup with noodles (either chicken, pork or beef) and it really nice.
Food might make them cross the river.
