Great Ocean Road - worth driving through?

Postby Graham » Sat Nov 12, 2011 3:39 pm

Hey there

I'll be in Victoria on Sunday and will probably be driving back to WA on Tuesday and was wondering if it's worth taking the extra long detour and going down great ocean road for the sights and twisties?

Any other decent things to see in Melbourne while I'm there? :P

Cheers,
Graham

cool cheers guys, I plan on doing it in a bmw z4, so a pretty grippy car with a lil bit of power :P

I hear it's a popular cop spot and there's been a few media hoonlaws there so I'll have to be careful!

I'll post up pics of the apostles if i see them :)

I've heard a lot of good stuff about driving there, except for numerous speed limit changes while you're at it. Just beware of the signs if you want to save your wallet.

drove down there yesterday, such a giood rd, we have nothing that good in WA..

the Z4 hugs the rd like crazy, even in the wet it wouldnt think of oversteering unless i ripped the wheel around on purpose.. amazing car
