Worst I have seen in Sydney a few years ago was a VW Beetle (old one) with a single snow ski on roof racks (apparently it has a Porsche boxster 2.7ltr motor in it)....

Gee guys your scarring me now I am heading to bundaberg for new years,
not that I make a habit of speeding infact when it comes to speeding I am normally a wuss after being nabbed 12 months ago for going quite quick. But I am guilty of going with flow of traffic. Around Uralla all I need to do is look out for unmarked SS's and XR8's not damn horse floats, did it have a police horse in it (backup)?

The one i like is the one i always get coming home from martial arts on a Wednesday night. he is a motorbike cop with his handheld and stands right behind the pole at the bus stop hidden.

oh its on redland bay rd capalaba for those interested. he hides the bike in the car park.

revisiting the old threads, but spotted the new mobile unmarked speed camera this morning

saw a grey tradie ute parked up on the side of the road, went past following a VW polo, as the polo got up close a flash went off, pretty scary that they r now using those as camera cars

some very interesting reading to be had here for anyone into the legalities of speed camera placement and usage.

http://tinyurl.com/285n777

also visit the department of justice here http://www.justice.vic.gov.au/ and do a search for speed cameras.

happy reading! :)

I'm not too sure if this has been posted before but on the M3 northbound, about 1km after the 110 ends, there is a fixed speed camera on the overpass of the Logan motorway. As you drive past the bridge, look behind you and look up to see the cameras. To my knowledge they are not in use yet, but they will be soon.

Got this in my email yesterday, would anyone be able to confirm if these are now in use?

"Please inform all of your workers who drive the M1 between the Gold Coast and Brisbane of the message below.

New fixed speed cameras

If you travel to and from the coast a lot...then get acquainted with these.......

When heading to the coast they have installed fixed speed cameras to capture the 4 north bound lanes of traffic on the M1 between Beenleigh and Loganholme.

The cameras are attached to the northern side of the Logan Motorway bridge that crosses the M1."
