Chubb Comes to Brissyland again Friday, 23rd April

Hi all, I hope you do not shoot me for posting in the Qld section myself :P.

Anyway I am heading backup to Brissyland this Anzac long weekend (the 24th, 25th and 26th of April) and I was hoping to have a bit of a mini meet and possibly dinner or something. I would also like to organise a bit of a
paintball battle to while I am up there (not sure if that is smart on my behalf being a new south welshman :?), Adrian has suggested to me that the large outdoor center would suit us best.

Anyway guys I am open for any sort of suggestions as I will be driving up
friday and going home monday, so post away with your local knowledge.

I'll be semi-around that weekend - but I'm afraid paintball will be out for me! Can't be rocking up to my grandma's 80th bruised up... I've got enough male cousins to provide me with painful entertainment. I'm tied up Saturday day and night (family obligations I suppose you could call it). Sunday may not be good for me either... But I don't know about that yet...

Do you have an idea what time you'll be arriving on the Friday? Since Friday everyone seems to be able to meet, possibly a good time to do it is straight up for your arrival? We could do pizza's or something...?

I dunno - we'll see what others suggest I suppose =)

Yeah Friday could also work for me Kym, I am staying with a mate and he works till 6pm or so. If the mases want to do something friday instead of Sat that is fine with me as I can arrive in brissy anytime as I have all of Friday off.

Ahh cool =) Well, you might as well then drag his bones to the meet as well LOL. Hmmm... would you be thinking of food by that stage? Where would you like to do that if you think you'd like to eat? LOL. I can start arranging places etc....

If you can, can you change the title of the thread to include the "23rd April Friday" I'm not an admin person, so I can't do it... Adrian is working now so he's not around 24/7 to change stuff on people for QLD meets... Unless of course, Shane is about, he can change stuff too LOL

Like bloody magicians around here hahaha...

Title changed Kym. In terms of food hell yeah I would be hungry, as to what we do that is totally up to you your the one with the local knowledge all I know is to stay away from Hogs Breath :P.

I will be talking to this mate of mine tomorrow so I will suggest that it comes also.

Anywhere is good for me Kym, I will be in Annerley but a drive across the city does not worry me at all with my MMCS ;).

I'm keen, doesn't really matter where in Bris just make it somewhere easy to get too. Not 500million traffic lights in the middle of nowhere :P

I'll do a drive-by of a couple of parks that I know of, lots of car space, big a$$ parks, just have to see if they (the BCC) have decided to mow it or not ... LOL

It's about a 20 minute drive north from the city... Yes there are a few traffic lights Frazza, but if you are like me and know the easy back routes, no problemo... However, most of you live on the south side, and don't know, but it's very easy to get too nevertheless. It is a great parking area =)

That sucks mate :(, what time do you trade up there the local store here closes at 3pm on weekends. Also mate could I hit you up for a ROM read while I am up there?

Sat 8-5
ANZAC day on the Sunday, so it will be 1-3 :roll: pointless opening.
Monday, being a public holiday, will be Sunday hours of 9-3
