I was thinking the same but not sure if it would fit straight onto a normal CJ Lancer or not without any modifications and if it would sound any different?

yeah it does sounds different but i think they will have to cut a hole in the bumper for the otherside. it wont be just a straight bolt on thing. Eric-blackbetty got a ralliart exhaust im pretty sure. i think they had to do some modding to the pipes to get it all to fit.

Not necessarily you can have the exhaust hangers adjusted to have it hang a little lower to clear the stock bar. Got the information rob. Bliss exhausts here in brissy :-)
