I love the atention, there are still peeps out there that dont know what it is an specially the fact that it has no badges on it helps.

Also the engine noise out of my cannon sounds amazing.

Also like interior, looks classy.

THe fact that compared to all the other cars in the same class it has more power/features/looks and its MINE!!!

Hahaha ... Yes Azza ... I know " Why " ... LOL

But it's still a 4Cyl Car, admittedly, with a " Bolt-On " feature ... But still ... Power.!!

Another thing I Love about my RA ... Got asked 2day by 2 people if it was an EVO.? - LOL ... Had to correct them ... 8)

The flexibility of this car is my ultimate favourite factor, a close second, the front end (sexy looks), third the engine (it's great even in standard form).

By flexibility I mean to say that you can do so much with this car, so many different parts to personalise your car, no one done up Lancer has all the same stuff in it imho. :)

It's still is a head turner. Drive a Commodore and no gives you a 2nd look. Drive the Lancer and people still have good look.

Where I live, most of the 'P' platers drive V6 Commodore's. I love playing with them at the traffic lights. (only to the speed limit of course)

Turns out the CVT 2.0 accelerates to 100 km/h just about the same as the new Accord Euro auto, which was my first choice up until a VZ smoked it during a test drive (no speed limits violated). It looked sophisticated, had arguably the best dashboard layout and very nice to sit on, perhaps a bargain BMW but at nearly 40K, I could get an FG XR6 which is bigger, way faster and handles better. It's nice to know I can get the same performance on the Platinum at around 10 grand less.

I have to agree with everything everyone has says here... I mean its the reason we all bought one.

Personal fav...

Stock has to be the land shark apperance (especially in BLACK... you know it HAWT)
ModGreddy zorst, what a sweet sweet note... best money spent so far

But I have to say the No. 1 FAVORITE thing about my Lancer!! is the fact theres a place where we can all share our passion... right here that is :). I've only being on board about a month but it feels longer (maybe thats just cause I'e already met Adrian LOL).

The warranty and purchase price. Service is relatively cheap and ONCE a year. No manufacturer can beat a Mitsubishi!

I've disliked just about every previous incarnation of the Lancer which put me off buying one i the past but with the CJ, Mitsu have, IMHO created the best looking car on the road. This one seams to have lost the DOOF DOOF image of previous models. I also think the colour scheme inside is pretty good. Engine performance is reasonable for a 2 ltr as well. Safety and warranty is also great.

What I like most about Lancer is its look. Other people could pay well over 100k for a car that has an aggressive look yet we can get it at 20k. I like the interior too. It works well with the car, its simple, clean and uncluttered.

Also the feeling you get when you go past a BMW 3 series convertible driver who is having a 'moment' (top down, music up as loud as possible and off in their own little world) then you over take them. The look on their face is priceless. nine times out of ten results in the BMW driver flooring it with the look of disgust on their face like you ruined their moment.
