Alright, my parents bought an ex demo lancer es at the start of this year and have rarely driven it. It's done 2000k's and I'm hoping to buy it. It is having installed factory Bluetooth and was given a body kit and rims from Mitsubishi when they bought it. (I'll try and upload a pic)

When they bought it they paid 26000 for it and now I'm just wonderring what I should be paying for it to buy it.
Thanks

Offer them $6000 + you'll do the dishes, lawn and garbage for 12mths .....

Threaten to leave home and never return ..... *thumb*

I'm sure your parents will be very willing to deal ......

$6000 no way your wife would except money from your kids.

Tell them it is a good investment for them as it is a safe and reliable car that will ensure them their son will always return home safe.

Hahaha, you guys clearly dont know my parents :P They made me buy their unused ps3 just so i could use it in my room instead of the room it was just sitting in, un connected collecting dust.

Im not looking to rip them off or anything, just looking for a rough price as to what i should offer. I mean ive seen stock standard 2011 ES's for 20k brand new, but they dont have the body kit, footwell lights or rims that this comes with. Would $18k be a fair offer or should i try higher or lower?

$18000 is a fair secondhand price. It would not be a good idea to transfer the title though as it will become a second owner plus you will have to pay stamp duty.

No point giving the government more money for nothing.

those are some nice rims! cant really tell but that kit looks like the VRX body kit?

as for price - got to carsales.com and grab a few figures and average it out. That might give you a rough ball park

I think they are Advanti rims & I think I saw this car(or these rims on a car at this same dealership).
