hi everyone, my names Sam and im from warrandyte in vic

i have decided to sign up here after lurking for a month or so, i have already learnt so much about the cj's from everyone here and figured i may as well get involved and really make the most of my new lancer

i have just recently bought a second hand lancer aspire in white and am so happy with it! especially considering it is a 2010 model with only 17,000 clicks on it and looks like it hasn't seen day on the road in its life

Current mods: it came with a set of slightly wider than stock vendetta wheels which were supplied by the dealership when the previous owner bought the car as he didn't like the stock alloys, other than that the car is stock and ready to be modded :)

Planned mods: firstly i will be looking to install a takeda intake as well as a new axel-back to drown out the CVT noise a bit, then a set of new springs or coils depending on how much money i can scrape together and then struts and sways if i am not completely broke by then :P Then just little things like stubby antenna, spirit of comp hood vinyl, black out rear emblems and badges, paint callipers, swap out shift knob, etc

anyway thats me, im looking forward to learning as much as i can from everyone here and making the most of my cj experience

thanks, it was owned by a guy in his 70's who only drove it once a week for 3 years, always garaged and meticulously maintained, the kind of ideal situation you hear about but think you will never actually find when looking for a second hand car, couldn't believe my luck :P

What magic is this? You speak of the SOC sticker on the 4th but already have it on the car? A good photoshop or had you preempted the purchase?

had purchased it a week ago, made my account and then it arrived later that day just after i had made my initial post so i immediately stuck it on and uploaded a picture there and then, im really pleased with how it looks, also it is a 9" sticker in case anyone was wondering

Nope! They are black, that looks hella sweet! As someone with a white lancer also, where did you get that from? Sticker overlay? I'm up for pinching that idea!!

door handles are currently chrome which is what comes stock with the aspire, they look black in the photo because of the reflections being created by the chrome, however i have already been looking to either plastidip or vinyl wrap them along with the rear emblems to keep the black on white theme going, problem is i am worried it will interfere with the keyless entry touch sensitive handles, if anyone has any info on this sort of thing or has done something similar i would be excited to hear about it
