I remember on the CAI group buy it was made clear that it would not fit on the Aspire because of there HID's.
I believe it was on the Injen web site too.
My personal opinion on the air intake is to fit a RA intake as it is a better design, looks stock(less trouble with police) easier to fit, no problems with sucking water into the engine.
