club cj is awesome! :D so much info on lancers..

anyways i'm from malaysia and i found this forum through my local lancer club forum LGTC..

i own a lancer EX :)

Welcome fellow Malaysian.

Half Malaysian here.

Anyhow, the CJ refers to the Australian release code for the 2008+ Lancer. This designation is only used by Mitsubishi Motors Australia which explains why none of the other countries know what we're on about.

The previous Lancer release (2000-2007) was known as a CH.

and

the release prior to that (1996-2004) was known as CE

If you read the Wikipedia page on Mitsubishi Lancer and pay attention to the Australian sections, you'll see these release codes mentioned as well.
