Finally decided what I'm doing! Air dam extension HELP!

Postby Carl-BVI » Tue Aug 14, 2012 11:29 am

Sorry having big troubles with posting on my phone so apologies for autocorrect .

Okay so I have decided after my accident and insurance issues that I am going to get my front bumper repaired (as its not TOOO bad) and get some air dam extensions (like on VRX) the get a PU v-lip.
So was after any information on these air dams incl. some home installation tips :) AND where I can get a good pair, found a OEM pair on eBay but they were out of white, unpainted could e a possibility but would rather already painted.

Thanks Guys any information helps!

Some say their service is fine, others don't :P It took me a few gos to get my order through...

If they're that cheap through mitsubishi though I'd just go through them. :)

Carl Sounds the easiest way to go is though the dealer & I would personally get them fitted "Up to you though " As some say they are easy some say they are a bugger to install & just a suggestion if possible get some paint protection on them as I have just had my Air-Dams on for a few months & I have hundreds of stone chips on them already ...... Just ring your closest Mitsubishi dealer up & they can advice you on how to order them ....

I found this site if you get stuck ....

Carl,
I would avoid XFactor at this time. There is another thread running about them, apparently, the guy who runs the place has been ill for most of the year and he is not working the site as he has in past years. He is generally not answering emails and calls from what I recall from the thread.

Maybe best to buy from another source or the dealer so you get what you order and pay for asap.
