full RA bonnet from mitsubishi after my crash was quoted $1700 that includes the discount for the actual NA bonnet which is $875 as insurance would only pay for NA bonnet.
(it included all the vents, clips, paint, labor etc.)
so at full retail would have costed over $2500 + paint and labor

Wish i had the funds available at the time.

Noticed you have Whiteline strut brace and rear sway bar. Did adding the sway bar stiffen your suspension. Harsher ride? *offtopic*

I know how you feel bro, parked near Pennant Hills station, only to come back to my beauty with the rear end caved in and the idiot had driven off...
Currently crying over the insurance excess as a P Plater hahaha

With the Black paint did they get the colour right? My car got damaged on the rear quarter 2 days after taking it home (Mum hit a letter box) and the panel needed to be resprayed.

The black is a pearl so it's hard to tell unless car is in full sunlight and clean but the resprayed area is definitely just a straight black.

My paint looks great, on the bits they did. The match is good but now I need other bits done like the bonnet which has a few minor scratches that I never worried about before. Mine is the no pearl black, not that it matters.

Planning to get a rear camera upgrade when I can afford it, maybe insurance companies should subsidize them as it's in their interest to find out who's at fault and to catch someone if it happens when parked.

i have a dual way dash cam in my car, but when i checked it nothing cam up after i parked it to when i turned accessory power back on. talk about unlucky...

its the kick up the bum i needed to get stuff done to my car. picking up my axle-back on Thursday and going to order the RA bumper once the date for repair on the stock is set. the sussing out the interior lights and rims.

R.I.P bank account hahaha

That's bad luck, I though most would at least capture the aftermath when they detect a bump, maybe it depends how sensitive they are. I know some can be set on continues record, so if something happens it saves for a period before the crash and after.

Still wish I had the cash for an EVO style rear bumper but that will have to wait.

the feels hit hard hahaha
getting it hardwired alongside my dad's, since mine happened he is paranoid about something happening to his beast hahaha

for the bumper you could always sell the one you have now/getting repaired to contribute to it. hoping to get something for mine when i sell the stock one. you could get lucky and someone will trade. mate had that with his silvia bodykit. a guy wanted the stock back, he wanted the aftermarket.
