IMHO those Phillips bulbs are highly over-rated. I run Narva Arctic Blues, same kind of light as the Phillips, but cheaper. They are made in Germany, by Osram, so they are as good as Phillips quality wise.
My HB3 (our high beam) and HB4 (low beam) are all stock, bar one of each, which is a spare of the Arctic Blues I run. not all form my car though. A mate of mine with a Volvo C30 has HB3s for his additional highbeam.
One pair of the D1S (OEM HID), H7, H11 and H3 bulbs I have are all out of a Porsche Cayenne

HUH? I thought Osram moved to China for production... must still make the head lights in Germany then....
Osram have a factory in Indonesia as well. But that is mainly for the crap lights mainly used in buildings and such.
All the good stuff comes out of the Germany factory. All the HID and performance globes come from Germany still. Otherwise I wouldn't touch it.
Not sure if Phillips still make their stuff in Europe (Holland), but they also have various factories in Asia.
